On this Palm/Passion Sunday, we go back in the passion story of Jesus to the beginning when He heads into Jerusalem. Although the crowds greet Him as royalty shouting Hosanna, He knows what suffering lies ahead. We too begin our worship with shouts and songs of Hosanna and then prepare for the most sacred week in the Church year – Holy Week. The artistic element this week revolves around the walls of Jerusalem and the palms. The special musical selection by the choir is entitled “Whisper of the Palms.”
