World Communion Sunday Worship Service

World Communion Sunday is a day when Christian churches around the world celebrate communion as a sign of our oneness in Jesus Christ despite the theological, political, and cultural differences in the church around the world. The scripture readings for today however, are challenging ones. The kingdom of God is compared to a vineyard and the consequences of mismanaging what is God’s is serious. The Church around the world is called to bear good fruit together.

We invite you to join us this Sunday to worship God together. Our fabulous choir will be singing the song ““Celtic Communion” with flutist Maddie Shaffer” Come and celebrate World Communion Sunday at First Presbyterian Church of Rome. We can’t wait to see you!
