Nursery School
Our mission has always been to serve all children of the community by giving them an introduction to the world and school in a safe and caring environment. We have stimulating classes for 3 and 4 year old’s.
The purpose of this school is:
- Provide a caring, kind, and friendly environment that teaches morally good behavior and values
- Teach a curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten in an everchanging educational society
- Foster appreciation for God’s world & their part in it The Nursery School shall be open to children of all faiths and beliefs.
Rome Refugee Services
Rome Refugee Services is a nonprofit organization that empowers refugees & immigrants in the Rome, NY area through education, social & economic development services and resettlement.
They are located on the 2nd floor of FPC. ESL classes are held Tuesday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health
Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their addiction to alcohol. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings and there are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to achieve sobriety.
AA meets each Monday evening at 8:00 pm in the downstairs Dining Hall. Please use buzzer at side ramp entrance
Narcotics Anonymous
Narcotics Anonymous members hold nearly 76,000 meetings weekly in 143 countries. They offer recovery from the effects of addiction through working a twelve-step program, including regular attendance at group meetings.

Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. We are proud to offer them a home in our church to hold their weekly meetings.

Relay for Life
Our current Relay for Life Teams, Rainbows of Faith and Hope, work year-round to support the efforts of the America Cancer Society. In addition to the annual Relay for Life Walk usually held in June, exciting fundraisers are held throughout the year including Paint ‘N Sips and Relay Bingo Night!!
Rome Area Hunger Walk
RAHW (Rome Area Hunger) is a concerted effort of local churches and organizations to fight hunger in our community. Our walk raises funds for local programs, agencies and food pantries serving the Rome-area. All the proceeds collected go directly to helping these agencies in our community.
