DESCRIPTION:Come and gather together on Wednesday\, Feb. 18th\, at 7pm for a short worship service as we enter into the 40 day season of Lent. Receive ashes on your forehead\, an ancient sign and ritual that reminds us of our mortality\, the frailty of human life\, and our need for Christ’s love and light. As we gather to repent and turn closer to Christ\, the cross of ashes trace the life-giving cross indelibly marked on our foreheads at baptism when we first heard the words\, “Child of God\, you have been sealed by the Holy Spirit\, and marked with the cross of Christ forever.”
